Conflicting priorities, time, workforce and budget constraints impact ability to deliver energy savings. This hands-on, activity-rich class strives to provide plans examiners and building inspectors with the knowledge and skills needed to more quickly and effectively enforce the energy code for residential projects. These courses are designed to help plans examiners and building inspectors: Understand the 2016 building energy efficiency standards for residential new construction, additions, and alterations. Understand the purpose of each of the compliance forms and related documents.
